Temple Hillel B’nai Torah is a Reconstructionist congregation that is welcoming, egalitarian, multicultural, and inclusive. We are devoted to worship, study, social justice and community. Hillel B’nai Torah is a haimish community that is rooted in Jewish tradition and responsive to the world we live in. We actively engage our members in the creative process of bringing new perspectives to tradition and making tradition meaningful to contemporary lives.

Shir Hadash is an informal, cooperative congregation (a huaburah) of about 60 households. Our members represent widely diverse backgrounds and points of view. For more than 25 years we have grown in our knowledge and understanding of Judaism, largely through teaching one another. We have shaped a warm, caring community for members of all ages. Dorshei Tzedek is a Reconstructionist Congregation dedicated to creating a caring and inclusive community, and to enhancing Jewish practice and learning in the lives of our members. "Dorshei Tzedek" means "seekers of justice," and as our name implies, we are seekers: of meaningful spirituality, of serious Jewish learning, and of social justice. Consistent with Reconstructionist philosophy, we are committed to seriously engaging with Jewish tradition, challenging that tradition, where need be, and building on the tradition in creative ways. We do this in order to enhance our own lives as contemporary Jews and to perpetuate our bond—and our children’s bond—to our heritage. We view education for ourselves and our children as fundamental to Jewish life. We are a participatory congregation, encouraging all of our members to take an active role in some aspect of our congregational life. Our rabbi is our partner in this endeavor, and is both teacher and participant in our community. We value diversity in our congregation, and welcome all those who share our commitments. Finally, we affirm the concept of mitzvah as obligation, acting on our Jewish values through deeds of tzedek (social justice) and gemilut chasadim (loving kindness), both within our congregation and in the larger community.

We observe our customs and traditions in a warm, open, joyous, welcoming and non-judgmental environment. That is the hallmark of the orthodox Chassidic heritage and philosophy the Zvhil - Mezbuz Rebbe inherited as a direct descendant of the Baal Shem Tov, and allows us to learn and grow together, regardless of our present level of education or observance.

The Young Israel of Brookline is affiliated with the National Council of Young Israel and the Union of Orthodox Congregations ("OU"). During the past number of decades, multi-generational families have created a dynamic and vibrant community which is a welcoming temporary home for young professionals who have come to Boston for school and training. This exciting mixture of people crosses all cultural, economic and professional lines and creates unique and rewarding opportunities for the Jewish newcomer to the Boston area. Whether as a new resident or a visiting guest, the Young Israel of Brookline has developed an international reputation for hachnassat orchim, extending hospitality to those in our kehilla.

We are a Modern Orthodox synagogue located in beautiful Newton Centre, Massachusetts, in the greater Boston area. Our small, energetic shul aspires to provide an inclusive, friendly, and participatory atmosphere conducive to personal growth through Torah study, serious religious expression, and building a supportive community of values and meaning. As our Sages taught us so long ago: The world stands on three things: Torah, Avodah, veGemilut Chasadim. At Shaarei, we too stand on, and just as importantly, we stand for these three foundational pillars.

Congregation Kadimah-Toras Moshe was Brighton's first Orthodox synagogue, organized in 1941. It was first known as Congregation Kadimah and later merged with Congregation Toras Moshe of Roxbury in 1960. There are 120 families affiliated with the synagogue. We hold classes in Chumash and Talmud as well as on cultural topics weekly, and host a number of other events. There is a Shabbat youth program for toddlers through bar/bat mitzvah age run through our Family Program. The Congregation maintains an active Sisterhood.

Welcome to Congregation Beth El-Atereth Israel, a dynamic Orthodox congregation of approximately 250 families, which provides a welcoming environment for people from all backgrounds. Guided by our respected Rabbi, our Shul is committed to approaching the modern world through the perspective of halacha, embracing religious Zionism, and growing in Jewish learning and observance. The hallmark of our synagogue family is the warm and haimish atmosphere.

The purpose of this congregation shall be the maintenance of a place of worship and for other related matters such as educational, cultural and social activities, all of which are designed to serve the diverse and ever changing needs of the community of Jews in Downtown Boston while maintaining Jewish traditions, practices and customs.

Temple Tifereth Israel of Winthrop is an unaffiliated Jewish congregation, whose services and practices nominally follow the Conservative tradition. We provide a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for our congregants and visitors. The Congregation is committed to preserving Jewish values and traditions.
