“T.I.D.E. (Teenage Interfaith Diversity Education): The Wave of Change” conference
co-sponsored by Interfaith Action, Inc.’s Youth Leadership Program and The Pluralism Project
On June 26, 2007, the Interfaith Action’s Youth Leadership Program co-sponsored a conference with the Pluralism Project called “T.I.D.E. (Teenage Interfaith Diversity Education): The Wave of Change.” The conference, which was held at Harvard Divinity School, included youth-led workshops, activities, and dialogue sessions designed to equip other youth participants with interfaith leadership and communication skills. The youth organizers hope that attendees will use these skills to bridge ethnic and religious barriers in their communities, creating a more civil and peaceful society.
